Creator License - 3oaksmusic

The Creator License allows you to use an original 3 Oaks Music track in a project intended to be published, distributed, sold, or monetized.

Purchasing this license does not transfer ownership of the musical work. 3 Oaks Music and the composer remain the owners of all rights relating to the music and the sound recording.

1. What the Creator License allows

For each Creator License purchased, the license holder is authorized to incorporate the licensed music into one final project, including:

a YouTube video or other online video;
social media content or videos;
a podcast;
a guided meditation, relaxation session, or other audio content combined with voice;
an online course or training program;
a promotional or commercial video;
digital content sold or made available as part of a commercial activity.

The final project may be free, paid, or monetized.

2. One license per project

Each Creator License is granted for:

one music track;
one license holder;
one final project.

Using the same music in a separate or unrelated project requires the purchase of a new Creator License.

Different versions or formats of the same project published across several platforms are considered a single project, provided they correspond to the same underlying content.

3. What is not permitted

The Creator License does not allow:

resale, redistribution, or sharing of the music as a standalone audio file;
distribution of the original audio file to third parties;
resale of the music as stock music, royalty-free music, production music, or as part of a music library;
granting a sublicense or allowing another person or company to use the music independently;
registering the music or the final project with any Content ID system in the name of the license holder or a third party;
claiming ownership or authorship of the composition or sound recording;
substantially modifying the composition in order to create or claim ownership of a new derivative musical work without prior authorization from 3 Oaks Music.

Technical edits required to integrate the music into the licensed project, including cuts, fades, volume adjustments, and synchronization with images or voice, are permitted.

4. License holder

The Creator License is personal and non-transferable.

It is granted exclusively to the individual, company, or organization identified on the license certificate associated with the order.

The license holder may provide the music to a technical service provider, editor, filmmaker, agency, or other professional solely for the purpose of producing the licensed project.

Such third parties do not acquire any independent rights to use the music.

5. Duration and territory

Unless otherwise stated, the Creator License is granted worldwide and for an unlimited duration for the licensed project.

6. Copyright and collective rights organizations

The Creator License authorizes the use of the 3 Oaks Music sound recording under the conditions described above.

However, this license does not replace or waive any royalties, authorizations, public performance rights, broadcasting rights, or other payments that may be required by collective rights organizations such as SACEM, or by any other competent collecting society or organization, depending on how and where the project is used or distributed.

The license holder is responsible for determining whether any additional rights, authorizations, or payments apply to their specific use.

7. Proof of license

After purchasing a Creator License, a personalized license certificate is issued to the license holder.

The certificate may include:

the name of the license holder;
the licensed music track;
the order number;
the license number;
the date of purchase;
the project name, when provided.

The license certificate together with the corresponding purchase record constitutes proof that the Creator License has been granted for the declared project.

8. Intellectual property

The musical composition and sound recording remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders.

Purchasing a Creator License grants only a right to use the music within the limits defined by these terms.

No copyright, ownership, authorship, or other intellectual property rights are transferred to the license holder.
